Reservation of accommodation
Upon making a reservation, guests acknowledge and fully accept the accommodation policy, payment deductions, and cancellation terms. Room prices are stated in euro and include all legal taxes, including VAT 13%, and the accommodation tax.
Payment and deposit
Payment can be conveniently made by Visa, Mastercard or a bank transfer.
In order to confirm your reservation, you are required to make a prepayment of 30% of the total cost of your stay. If you need an invoice for your stay, please inform the accommodation. The deposit must be made within two (2) working days of contacting the accommodation. Failure to make the deposit within this timeframe will result in the cancellation of the pre-reservation without any further notice, and the room will be made available to others. The accommodation reserves the right to verify the credit card details at the time of receiving a reservation and may cancel the reservation if the credit card information provided is invalid. You must email a copy of the deposit receipt to the accommodation immediately.
Please note that the booking will only be confirmed once the deposit is visible in our Greek bank account, which can take up to 2-3 days for funds to appear in EU banks.
Once we have received your reservation and deposit, we will send you a confirmation email to ensure our availability and confirm your booking. Please ensure that you receive this confirmation email, as it will serve as proof of your valid reservation. Failure to receive this email may result in the pre-booking being cancelled without further notice and the room being released.
Booking and cancellation:
At Onar Corfu Aparts & Studios, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, which may require guests to cancel their reservations. The management of the accommodation kindly requests that customers inform them in writing of any changes or cancellations to their reservation as soon as possible. To accommodate these situations, we have established the following cancellation policy:
– Cancellations made 21 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, are eligible for a refund and any deposit paid will be returned by the accommodation. Otherwise the customer will be charged 30% of the total stay, based on their booking.
-If the reservation is cancelled upon arrival, during the stay, or if the customer fails to show up at the accommodation, they will be charged 100% of the stay, based on their reservation.
– Changes to your booking, including date changes or alterations to the number of guests, are subject to availability and corresponding prices. If changes can be accommodated, they will be subject to an additional charge, which will be communicated to you at the time of the request.
-In the event of unexpected occurrences, including natural disasters, that may affect your stay, we will take necessary measures to ensure your safety and well-being. In exceptional circumstances, the accommodation reserves the right to cancel a reservation without notice if necessary. In such cases, the accommodation is obligated to return the full amount paid for the reservation and will make every effort to ensure alternative accommodation of a similar standard, subject to availability.
-For non-refundable reservations, the full amount of the reservation is charged at the time of confirmation and modifications or cancellations are not allowed. If we are unable to provide alternative accommodation, we will refund your deposit in full, and we will not be liable for any further costs or losses incurred as a result of the cancellation. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages caused by events beyond our control. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance that includes coverage for unforeseeable events.
The accommodation reserves the right to charge 100% of the reservation in case of no-show or early departures without prior notice.
